The Montgomery Dragon Boat Race & Festival is a unique joint venture between two local charities: Bridge Builders® Alabama and Rebuilding Together® Central Alabama.

Dragon Boat Racing is an ancient Chinese tradition that’s is one of the fastest growing water sports in the United States and internationally. Dragon Boat festivals present a unique opportunity to blend athleticism, community building and cultural enrichment.

This year JM sponsored/organized a team from his trauma department.  He used his business name CASTA and a play on a M*A*S*H team.  JM is the blue life vest in front of the only red life vest!  

 The girls and I made it down to the Riverfront to watch his first race.  Then we were able to go back to his C*A*S*T*A tent for snacks and chit-chat with people from the trauma department!
