My beautiful kids!

Kids are just too much fun.  I was excited to get this shot since Lyndsey will NOT sit still and look at the camera for 2 seconds!  We are preparing for a fun week.  JM leaves with Corynne and Lauren to go to NYC on Thursday.  They are so excited!  They wanted to start packing today!

We are getting geared up for the All-Star District tourny in a few days.  A team mom dressed up all the cars at practice on Saturday.  Oh, what fun!  I am struggling with the NEED to wash my car!  Letting the kids put their stickers on the back almost pushed me over the edge a few years ago, so JM did call to make sure that it was okay before the mom did it!  Tyler loves it...and it is only for a week or so.  I thought God was going to save me the stress on Sunday morning, but the rain did not wash it off!  My type A clean freak personality is hard to deal with at times!!!

Father's Day @ the Lake

                           

         

Due to a BIG change in work schedule, JM had the weekend off.  We headed up to the lake for a long weekend of fun.  JM and the kids played on and in the water all weekend.  After a little decorating and house cleaning, I was able to enjoy a few hours of relaxation since there is nothing else to do way out in the country!!!  We had a great weekend, and John Mark enjoyed his special day!

Summertime, Summertime...We love summertime!

   

Wow!  It is finally summertime!  We are enjoying more relaxing days here in Alabama despite the heat!  Tyler- who plays outside all the time- asked the other day why we cannot have summer vacation when it is cooler outside!  

To start our summer vacation, we enjoyed a long Memorial Day weekend at Grammy's house in Texas.  The kids had fun just hanging out on the farm and riding Papa's new toy-a new four-wheeler!  Grammy had a new batch of kittens which Corynne nurtured all weekend.  She really wanted to bring them back to Alabama, but they were just a few weeks old (and Mom does not like cats)!

Tyler's team finished up their season as AUM Green League Champions!  Yeah!!!  Tyler played first base all year, pitched a few innings, and received the Most Improved Hitter for the season! He was named to the All-Star Team, so we will continue playing baseball for at least another month.  The district tourny is July 3-6.

Last week was VBS at our church.  I taught a 6 year old  class.  It was a lot of fun, but exhausting!  Lyndsey got bumped up to the 2 yr old class for VBS.  It broke my heart to see my baby walking around the church doing the big kid activities.  She enjoyed snacks, crafts, and the playground.  I could not believe what she would do for someone else!  She will never walk beside me and hold my hand!!!!

This week we are busy with baseball camp, swimming lessons and art camp.  The girls came home yesterday with 5 new art pieces to decorate our house.  Mrs. Barb is an amazing teacher!
