Sharks Summer Swim Team

The girls went to our neighborhood YMCA for summer swim league.  The competed for the Southeast Sharks.  They had an awesome summer of swimming.  The great part was they could ride their bikes through the neighborhood to the Y for their afternoon practices.  They would meet their friend Anna at her house and finish the journey together!

Lauren was made that I made her wait after the meet for the team awards.  She kept saying, "Mom, I am not going to get anything."  I just knew there was a BIG chance that she placed high in her age.  After they had called out 8th,7th, 6th...5th, I was second guessing my logic.  Then they called out 4th place, with 45 point Lauren Vermillion from the SE Sharks!  Yeah!!!!!

My girls are growing up to fast!

It seems that I notice how much my kids are growing up when I look through my old pictures.  I cannot believe my first little princess will brave the 6th grade in a few months.  She amazes me every day.  Corynne is so sweet and tender hearted!
Lyndsey and I went on a movie and pedicure date.  She wanted to see the new Pooh movie, and no one else did!!!  She loves to be a big girl at the spa!
Lyndsey LOVES to work puzzles.  This was her first 50 piece puzzle to complete ALL by herself!
And what is happening to my BABY?  She tries new things everyday.  She loves to do ANYthing the big girls are doing!

Weekend of July 4th

We began the month of July with a mini-vacation to Atlanta.  JM got us tickets to the Braves on Friday, July1st!
JM had to point out this was our 2nd annual trip to a MLB field (last year was the Astros).
Our trip was complete with fireworks at the ballpark.  Colleen loved them after the initial shock!
On Saturday, we went to The World of Coke which was not here the last time we can to Atlanta for a vacation.
Colleen even tried a few Coke products in the tasting room!  Orange Fanta was here favorite!

2 cute kids                       1 kid too cool for pics!

After we finished touring The World of Coke, there was time for putt-putt and playing in Centenial Park.

On Sunday July 3rd, we went to the Georgia Aquarium.  The last time we were here was when Corynne was in Kindergarten over 5 years ago.  Wow! Time flies!

And in 5 years, this picture has changed a lot!!!!!

 Happy 4th of July!!!!!!!!!
