This is Corynne and Lauren's 1st time on the year around swim team here in Montgomery. They have been practicing 3-5 times per week for the last month. They LOVE to swim! This weekend was the first swim meet for the fall swim team. It was in Birmingham, and Dad took them! They had a great day! No first place trophies, but they did great in each of their heats!!!

Little Colleen is growing up!
This month has been full of milestones for sweet, baby Colleen! She may be a little, tiny, 5% baby but she loves to eat her veggies and cereal! We can not spoon it in fast enough!!
She has figured out that we are on the other side of her crib! She peeks out and has learned to pull herself up on the crib :(
She is not so crazy about this play mat anymore. When we put her on it, she does everything she can to get off...
Blowing bubbles...Look who is up on all fours!
Days after getting up on all fours, our sweet Colleen was on the move. She is crawling now and trying to teach herself to sit up!
Time to learn a new word....NO...do not touch that!!!
Enjoying her first swing adventure (at the girls' school)!!!
Happy 6 Month Birthday, Colleen!!!

The BIG day!
We made it to the top of the bracelet countdown!!! Today is Lyndsey's 1st day of preschool. She is so excited!!!
Lyndsey is going to Trinity Presbyterian Preschool. It is a sweet, little school. It reminds me a lot of St. Francis' in Temple, Texas where Tyler went to preschool sooooo many years ago!!!
Wow! She is such a big girl. She is in the Older 3s class because of her birthday falling after September 1st. Today is actually her birthday, but she does not know that!!! We will celebrate the big birthday in a few weeks!
Welcome to Miss Christy's and Miss Kim's Older 3s class!

Countdown...
Lyndsey's countdown until preschool is getting shorter. Today was a special treat...Open House/Meet the Teacher! She was so excited! She jumped out of bed at 6:15 this morning and got dressed! Then it was time to tear off a "bracelet link".
Open House started in the "big Church" room. We got to sing a few childhood favorites like "Jesus Loves Me" and "Jesus Loves the little Children". Next we went to her classroom. She found her name and sat down at her seat! The teacher had a special treat for the children...sugar cookies! Preschool is sooo cool!! Lyndsey was so excited that they got to go out to the playground! She did not want to leave!
It is going to be hard to wait 7 more days to go back to school!!!!! Wow! Lyndsey is growing up so fast!
