The last time we picked strawberries was in Maryland in 2004! When a friend of mine mentioned that her brother had a pick-ur-own farm in Wetumpka, I decided that we had to find time to go! Colleen and Lyndsey have never picked strawberries, and Corynne and Lauren don't remember picking in Maryland!
We had so much fun eating and picking! The berries were so delicious! I had big plans of making jam after we got home from the weekend at the lake, but we were down to I full basket by Monday morning. Corynne froze half the remaining basket for shakes, and we ate the rest! They were melt-in-your-mouth can't-eat-just-one good!!!!
