Happy Memorial Day

We spent a long weekend at the lake.  It was a pleasant weekend full of boat rides, fishing, kayaking, and family fun.  We got our annual "lake picture".  This is another tradition that started by accident!  The first summer that we were at the lake house, I snapped a picture of JM and 3 of the kids just sitting on the deck.  It is one of my favorites, so each year we pose for it again.  Quite easy since we are not trying to get smiles!!! We usually take it on Father's Day, but we are not coming to the lake this year on Father's Day.

We were actually home on Memorial Day since JM had to work.  JM grilled hot dogs by the pool, and Lauren made patriotic brownies for a special treat!

My beautiful, patriotic kids are growing up TOO fast!
