Each year we have our own family Super Bowl party. It is nothing big. It is just a junk food, football themed family night. In the past, the girls were done with the football by the time they were done eating dinner. This works out good so JM and Tyler get to watch the game in peace while the girls usually go watch a movie somewhere else.
This year Noni stopped by on her way back to her house in Florence. She had been in Montgomery all weekend watching our cousin Jenson dance at a competition. Corynne and Lauren really enjoyed getting to watch Jenson dance on Friday and Saturday. Jenson is a beautiful, talented dancer and she won quite a few awards over the weekend. WOW!!!
We warned Noni that it was a junk food party, but she graciously ate with us anyway. Hope she did not have a tummy ache on the rest of her long drive home! I did, but maybe that is just a pregnancy thing! Anyway, the girls loved having her stop by for the party! Lyndsey has frequently said, "Mommy, remember when Noni came here and we had a football party!"
JM's proudest moment of the evening was when the girls had been sent to their rooms to get ready to go to bed. I came back and told him he needed to go check on Lauren. He discovered that she was tucked in bed watching the SuperBowl. She new the score and which team was winning. A proud Dad moment!!!!
