JM enjoyed 12 hours on the farm before he had to fly back to Montgomery on Thursday morning! The kids and I stayed through Saturday. We had an awesome time riding 4 wheelers, playing volleyball, shooting bows, climbing trees (so Mom can take pictures), cooking, picking peas, and everything else country!

Is that my girls playing with my old Barbies? Glad they are getting some use because I never was a Barbie playing kind of girl!!!
Grammy has many BIG trees in her yard and they make beautiful picture backdrops, so we have a tradition of taking pictures in the trees everytime we come to the old homestead!
The girls made brownies on Thursday night. While Tyler made onion rings.
On Thursday night, Grammy took Lauren and Lyndsey over to a neighbors house to pick peas.
They had a great time seeing the chickens and weiner dog while they where there.
Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Rodgers for making memories with us!
This also set us up for easy evening entertainment...shelling peas!
On Friday, the kids talked Grammy into cooking with them ALL DAY LONG!!!! Tyler made a peanut butter pie at Mom's request since it is her FAVORITE! Tyler also mixed up the cornbread to go with the peas the girls put on to cook this morning!
The girls made sausage balls.
Lauren loves to wash dishes...glad someone does!
Guess what we had for dinner on Friday night! Cornbread, black-eyed peas, sausage balls, other leftovers, and peanut butter pie!!!! Yummy!!!!! Good job chefs!
