Callaway Gardens

 We live about 1 1/2 from Callaway Gardens, but we have never been there since we moved to Alabama.  We have tried for years to go during Christmas to see the Fantasy of Lights, but it has never worked out until this year.  We got up early and headed to Pine Mountain, GA.  First we visited the Butterfly center.  It was beautiful!  The kids all had fun letting the butterflies land on them!

We visited Christmas Village next.  We had a little down time while we waited for Santa to arrive.  We all decided to paint a piece of pottery

It has been years since we have painted pottery.  I am very proud of my new platter!

There was time for some face painting and cookie decorating also!

 Santa arrived, so we visited with him a little!

It was a very relaxing day at a very beautiful place!

We concluded the night by driving thru the Fantasy in Lights show.  It was really pretty, and the kids enjoyed themselves.  Yeah!  Another family fun day was successful!!!
